Our partnership started in the construction industry. Cam began building in 2012, working on everything from full barns to custom homes- gaining extensive hands-on experience and a deep understanding of structural integrity and quality workmanship. In 2020 Gerben joined Cam’s construction company as an carpentry apprentice, quickly developing a strong skillset and the same appreciation for precision, detail, and doing things the right way.
As we worked together, we discovered a mutual interest in outdoor living and the growing demand for functional, high-end exterior spaces. That passion led us to branch off and form True Craft Shade Solutions, focused on delivering premium outdoor shade systems and custom solutions for both residential and commercial projects.
With a background in custom home building, we approach every project differently than a typical installer. We don’t just install products-we understand how they integrate into your structure. Whether it’s working with challenging rooflines, unique layouts, or complex builds, we have the knowledge and experience to plan and execute the right strategy from the start.
